There’s one man who has silently slipped away from the spotlight this season.Indeed, Marcelo Bielsa’s former interpreter Salim Lamrani is no longer working at Leeds despite becoming quite an important figure at the club last term.Fans loved Lamrani, even going as far as to make a chant about him, but not much has been heard from him this term.

He tweets sporadically, but he’s now sent out a call to action on social media imploring supporters to get behind the team even in these tough times. Leeds have won just twice in their last 11.

Lamrani’s open letter to the supporters has a few lessons that many United fans could probably do with learning.

There’s been plenty made of the toxicity amongst the fanbase at the moment, and to be fair it’s something that could be affecting the players.

Lamrani knows better than most how this treatment will be affecting the squad, and as he says, they are good men trying their hardest for the team.

Hopefully, a number of supporters take on board what he’s trying to say in this message.

In other news, QSI could be about to do Leeds a favour.
